HISTORY

Mobile Music Teachers LLC is managed by LeAnn Parker and
her husband Ben Parker, both teaching and performing in
the Kansas City area. LeAnn and Ben both hold their
degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
LeAnn having her degree in Music Education and Ben in
Violin Performance. After teaching for a combined total
of 25 years, the Parker’s discovered the need for a new
service to families in the Greater Kansas City area.
Originally, LeAnn did not set out to start a music business. Simply loving to teach, she worked teaching children piano in order to achieve musical enjoyment and excellence.
After several years, LeAnn transitioned from teaching at
a music studio to traveling to student’s homes for their
lessons. Quickly, the demand for her at-home piano
lessons was more than she could keep up with. Receiving
more calls for new students than she could teach herself
LeAnn decided to carefully hand-select an additional
piano teacher to join her “mobile music” team. As the
second teacher’s schedule began to reach maximum
capacity, it was a natural progression to add additional
teachers as needed.
The rest is history! The Mobile Music Teacher team is
now made up of over 15
teachers who teach a range of
musical instruments, language, and art lessons. To this
day each teacher is evaluated, interviewed, and
carefully selected to join the Mobile Music Teacher Team
by either LeAnn or Ben. We believe that this personal
selection assures the best possible teachers to work
with your family. We also believe that personality blend
between teacher and student is vital. Because of this,
LeAnn personally meets each new family before a teacher
is ever sent to the home. This assures the best possible
fit for the students instructional and personal needs.
Ben is also a vital part of making Mobile Music Teachers a smooth running educational tool. Behind the scenes - he works to manage teachers schedules, students tuition, as well as the selection of new teachers to the Mobile Music Teachers team.
We look forward to having you become a part of Mobile Music Teachers growing history of education and excellence!

Overview
Private instruction is month by month. Each month that a
student is enrolled they will receive 4 weekly lessons.
Typically, lessons are 30 minutes long. However, based
on students needs, we do offer pro-rated exceptions for
very young students and more advanced students.
Enrollment
Students enroll by 1) submitting an
enrollment form, and
2) completing a short introductory meeting with LeAnn or Ben Parker. Nothing more!
Tuition
Our prices are competitive and vary depending on teacher’s driving time. Please, contact us to find out what lesson rates are for your location!
Students are only required to pay tuition monthly.
Payments are due by the 1st of each month for the following month. Late fee’s do apply for payments received after the 1st of the month. This monthly tuition guarantees a student 4 weekly lessons for that month, plus optional recitals and performance opportunities that teacher’s offer.
Our Teachers
Once we receive a
students enrollment form, we strive to
connect you with a teacher who will meet all of your
given requests and needs. We carefully look for a
teacher with the instrument, style, day, and time that
fit with you! All of our teachers have a minimum of a
Bachelors degree in music or are currently working
towards one. All teachers are given thorough background
checks to assure their integrity.
When selecting a teacher to work on our team, we ask for
the teacher’s permission to share their information with
prospective students. Upon request, students may ask to
see their teachers biography and resume’.
Recitals and Methods
All of our teachers are independent contractors having
their own style and method of teaching. It is our top
priority to match students to the best fitting teacher.
Your
enrollment form is the first step in allowing us to
match you with a teacher fit for you. The second step is
a personal meeting with owner, LeAnn Parker, who will
discuss options you have in teacher selection. We work hard to match students with a teacher who is perfectly fit for their individual needs!
Withdrawal
Simply give us 30 day’s notice of your withdrawal and
your lessons may be discontinued. If we are not notified
one month in advance, students are obligated to pay for
the following month. However, notifying us of withdrawal
is as simple as filling out a
withdrawal form through
our website. No strings attached!

What ages and levels of students do Mobile Music
Teacher’s teach?
We offer lessons for students’ ages preschool to adult, beginner to advanced! We serve
home-school families as well as music instruction in after-school settings.
Why does an adult need to be home during the lesson?
For the safety of students and teachers, we ask that a
parent or designated adult to be at home for the
duration of the lesson. If a parent or guardian is not
at the home when a teacher arrives- the teacher cannot
teach the lesson and is not obligated to give a make-up
lesson.
What if we cannot make our lesson?
We realize that there are times when lessons need to be missed or rescheduled. Teachers work with their students to make sure that 4 lessons are received each month. Each teacher has their own policies on missed or canceled lessons. Ask your teacher what their cancellation and make-up policies are to insure receiving all lessons each month. Mobile Music Teachers are not obligated to make-up lessons that are canceled the day of the lesson, nor are teachers obligated to make-up lessons where a parent or guardian was not at the home upon arrival of the Mobile Music Teacher.
How do make lesson payments?
Mobile Music Teachers offers several ways for students to pay their tuition each month, 1) by
credit card, 2)
automatic bill pay, or 3) by
check.
What if I forget to pay my tuition?
In order to assist students to remember when tuition is due, before the 1st of each month Mobile Music Teachers sends out a friendly email-reminder/invoice that payments will soon be due. Our service has absolutely no hidden payments or fees. However, if students fail to pay their tuition by the 1st of the month late fees will be added. In order to help this from happening, we offer a variety of payment options to make remembering as easy as possible!
